Dear Mr. Richter:

Thank you for taking the time to let us know of your various problems with the bank since our conversation to[day regarding] BayBanks' product line.

After talking with Susan Smulski and me, I hope you are assured that we are doing our best to align New Hampshire customers with the appropriate BayBank product and price. As indicated, I would be happy to hear from you directly if problems persist or if you need additional services.

In closin, let me thank you for leaving your accopunts in our care in spite of recently experienced problems. Sue ad I, like of the New Hampshire staff, have been with BayBank's predecessor for some time. We share, with BayBank staff members everywhere, the desire to provide value to customers through effective service.

Please let me know directly if we fail to do so in the future.
